Sacrifice Sacrifice is a fixed act of worship based on the Qur'an, the Sunnah and ijmaa, and was legalized in the second year of the Hijrah. The worship of sacrifice is one of the acts of worship performed by the servants in order to get closer to Allah. Muslims who have a good economic situation slaughter their animals that can be sacrificed on the day of Eid al-Adha.
