Prophet Muhammad, Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, said:
“Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, then Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”
This fundraising campaign is to build a much-needed mosque to provide access to the mosque for the refugees and urban residents of Armanaz (city in Idlib province) in al-Shimat district. The mosque will be built close to the main road and at the same time close to the refugee camp of Armanaz (see pictures), so that residents and refugees will have it easy to get to all prayers and classes.
There is currently no mosque near the residents & refugees from al-Shimat district. They are forced to walk kilometers, if at all possible, to reach a mosque. That is why the refugee camp has provided a stopgap solution. A small tent. The condition is far from good, as you can see from the pictures.
Syria has very cold winters and very hot summers. In all seasons they are exposed to harsh conditions in such a tent.
With your help, we would like to build a mosque for the refugees and nearby residents, that is welcoming and provides refuge for anyone.
The mosque is planned to have a floor area of 100 square meters. Each square meter costs $226. At $22,600, the goal of the fundraising campaign will be reached and the completion of the mosque will be guaranteed – In shā’ Allāh.
Among the best donations is the permanent donation. So-called “Sadaqa Jariya” means that Muslims are continuously attributed reward from Allah from a donation once made, even after their death. This includes, for example, building a mosque.
“When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them. (Muslim & Tirmidhi)
“The example of those who spend in the way of Allah is just like a grain that produced seven ears, each ear having a hundred grains, and Allah multiplies (the reward) for whom He wills. Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing. . ” [Quran, 2:261]
